Direct support for organizations fighting racial injustice

The murders of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, and Tony McDade are the newest names in a long list of Black people killed by the police. Many in the United States seem to just be waking up to the injustices Black people face every day, but this pattern of violence and oppression goes far back, before this country was founded. Not acknowledging that fact is willful ignorance.

Parse.ly condemns all forms of systemic racism ingrained in our society. We condemn institutions that murder, harm, or oppress Black people.

While words are important, it’s actions that define us. Parse.ly will donate our money, our software, and our time to organizations that provide direct support to Black people or that fight to dismantle the systems that oppress them.

Donating our money

Parse.ly will donate $12,000 to The Marshall Project over the course of the next 12 months. The Marshall Project is a nonpartisan, nonprofit news organization that seeks to create and sustain a sense of national urgency about the U.S. criminal justice system.

Parse.ly’s connection to investigative journalism and the free press is deeply rooted. We have been empowering journalists through our content analytics platform since our start over a decade ago, and we’re proud to support The Marshall Project’s important work through this donation.

We will also contribute an additional $12,000 by matching our employees’ donations to the following organizations:

Donating our software and time

We are offering the Parse.ly content analytics dashboard for free to U.S.-based nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations whose primary mission is achieving racial justice for the oppressed.

These days, activism efforts live online. Content analytics can help you measure how content (like blog posts, press releases, and issue pages) impacts your reach and donations.

If you meet the criteria above, you can get started with your free Parse.ly account by filling out the form on this page.
