Stephanie Schwartz

Strategy and Education Manager

Although Stephanie has spent much of her career in journalism, she has had a varied career, including stints at a library and in healthcare PR. She has been a local reporter (ask her to name all the towns in Bergen County, New Jersey), an audience development specialist, and most recently, a social media editor at The Atlantic.

She has been thinking about media and audiences since childhood, though she wouldn’t have used either of those terms when she was 10. With two degrees in media, she enjoys talking about all forms, from podcasts to television, and loves to ask people how they get their news. Due to her role, where she trains customers on products, she now categorizes people by the type of referral traffic they send to publishers.

Outside of media, Stephanie enjoys exploring places, warm-weather activities, hiking, food, and music.
